Test Engineer II /III

Rivermatrix is seeking a Test Engineer II/III that shall be responsible for creating, documenting and implementing test procedures for operational assessment in a DevOps environment with a dedicated focus on automation and quality. The Test Engineer must have an in-depth knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Task Required Skills

 Experience using the Linux CLI 

 Experience with Bash/Python scripting

 Experience analyzing product/service functional requirements to develop operational assessment test procedures, reports, and documentation

 Experience writing automated UI tests using tools such Selenium

 Experience writing automated system tests using Bash and/or Python

 Experience with creating documentation, tracking, and troubleshooting testing outcomes

 Extensive knowledge of engineering and industry standard best practice testing concepts and methodologies

Task Desired Skills

 Experience working with and testing REST APIs

 Experience working with Docker

 Experience using Git for the configuration management of testing artifacts

 Experience with the Atlassian Tool suite (Jira, Confluence)

Requirements

Eight (8) years’ experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline form an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
