Warehouse Quality & Compliance Inspector - First Shift/Morning Start

The Distribution Center Inspector is responsible for ensuring inbound and internal product handling meets company standards, vendor requirements, and established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role supports inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and compliance by performing inspections, validating documentation, and escalating issues when required.Why You'll Love it Here:Competitive pay with opportunities for performance based increasesWeekly payPaid Time Off401(k) savings plan with company matchClimate Control environmentAssociate merchandise discountMajor Duties and Responsibilities:Inspect inbound freight, product, and documentation to ensure compliance with company, vendor, and regulatory standardsValidate purchase orders, bills of lading, and system records to support accurate receiving and inventory controlDefine inbound case content using Warehouse Management System.Input merchandise attributes into Warehouse Management System to ensure appropriate DC flow path is used.Sign for merchandise on Bill of Ladings in accordance with SOP.Escalate issues in accordance with established procedures; repeated errors may result in corrective actionSupport timely flow of product through the Distribution Center to meet operational and shipping timelinesFollow all safety, security, and operational policies and proceduresSchedule & EnvironmentMultiple shifts available, including weekends and holidays as business needs requireFast paced‑ distribution center environmentEducation and Qualifications:Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong attention to detail and ability to follow documented proceduresBasic computer and math skills and ability to work with warehouse or receiving systemsAbility to work independently and make decisions within defined guidelinesPreferred QualificationsPrior experience in a distribution center, warehouse, inventory control, quality, or compliance roleExperience identifying process gaps, compliance issues, or inventory discrepanciesPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for duration of the shiftAbility to lift up‑ to 50 lbsBurlington's benefits package includes medical, dental and vision coverage including life and disability insurance.
