Guest Lead

Reporting to Store Leadership, the Guest Lead plays an important role in delivering and directing the activities required to achieve store goals. These activities include providing exceptional guest service, maintaining compelling visual presentations, ongoing associate development and effective operational compliance.

Primary responsibilities include consistently delivering an exceptional guest experience, adhering to Altar'd State's guest service standards, acting as a positive role model, coaching associates on guest interactions, demonstrating accountability, embracing feedback, embracing change, maintaining a clean and presentable store environment, assisting in the construction of merchandising and window displays, representing the brand well, completing opening/closing procedures, adhering to loss prevention policies, participating in walk-throughs, serving as leader on duty as needed, and adhering to organizational Code of Conduct.

Qualifications include being at least 20 years of age, available to work on weekends, available to work during school breaks and holidays, previous retail experience preferred, and physical ability to perform tasks which could require prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling and/or squatting frequently. May be required to occasionally climb ladders, climb and descend stairs frequently, depending on location. Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance.
