Journeyman Electrician

Job Description Job Description We are looking for a highly motivated Journeyman Electrician, with 10+ years of experience to join our team working on multiple commercial locations in Westchester County . This position will be a part of our construction team and will work closely with the other skilled trade employees. The ideal candidate can work independently as well as part of a team, enjoys a fast-paced work environment, and values safety, quality, and high achievement. Job Responsibilities: Test electrical systems using tools that include voltmeters and ohmmeters Electrical conduit installation up to 4" Repair electrical issues by replacing or installing components, wiring or devices Electrical roughing and wiring with NEC compliance Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements; also through reporting violations of policies, procedures and guidelines to immediate supervisor Use ladders, scaffolding, platform and lifts to work on electrical systems in commercial properties Maintain equipment to ensure it is in good condition and can operate or be used safely; report any issues to immediate supervisor Job Skills & Qualifications Required: Completed electrician apprenticeship Proficiency with the National Electrical Code and local codes Valid driver’s license Ability to read blueprints Must pass criminal background check and drug test OSHA30 (Westchester County) 10+ years experience working in new hi-rise residentialconstruction Ability to use wire puller and electric/hydraulic pipe benders Must be efficient and experienced in all aspects of high-rise residential electrical installations, including roughing and trimming of apartments/amenities, and core electrical installation Holiday Pay: · New Year’s Day · Memorial Day · Fourth of July · Labor Day · Thanksgiving Day · Christmas Day Company Description Highlite Electrical Services, LLC, is a well-established and reputable Electrical Contracting Company committed to providing our customers with quality electrical installation, competitive pricing, and superior customer service.
