Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Requirements:

• Current and valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license (required)
• Previous experience working in special education settings, preferably in elementary, middle, or high school environments
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Ability to create and adapt instructional materials to meet a diverse range of needs
• Organized, flexible, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction based on students’ IEP goals and academic needs
• Prepare, monitor, and document student progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with general education staff, support professionals, and families to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress monitoring
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom culture
• Adjust interventions and teaching strategies based on student response and feedback
