Urgent Care Physician – Prince Frederick, MD Sign – On Bonus Patriot Urgent Care is a leading urgent care operator in the state of Maryland. We have an opening for a Physician who provides healthcare services to patients in a clinical setting, ensuring patients are treated with high standards of care. Clinics are closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day, and Easter with early closing on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, and 4thof July. Employee referral bonus program AI transcription for charting Qualifications, Experience and Responsibilities: Doctorate (MD /DO) with a Maryland medical license and DEA certification. ABMS Board certification in emergency medicine, internal medicine or family medicine or if board eligible then intention to become board certified within 1 year of onboarding Evaluate, diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries M anage episodic and chronic conditions with walk-ins and same-day appointments as the sole advanced practice provider for ages 2 and up. Perform minor office procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, orthopedic splinting and related treatments. Perform physicals such as sports, DOT, pre-employment, and annual. Evaluate patients for workers’ compensation injuries. Knowledge of state and federal regulations including OSHA, HIPAA, blood borne pathogens, and related compliance standards Detail-oriented and confident in medical best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Competence with common PC applications, Microsoft Office and EMR applications Respect and autonomy in decision-making Team-based approach to patient care. ACLS / BLS certifications (We will provide this if needed) Hourly Salary Range:Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
