Software Development Engineer In Test
We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test to join our IoT team supporting SyncUp device technology. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-moving environment.
This is a fully remote 6-month contract with potential to extend.
Responsibilities:
- Create tests to identify software problems
- Analyze bugs and errors found during tests
- Document results of tests for the software development team
- Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
- Motivate the development process for efficiency and performance
- Works together with the software developer to debug improve programs
- Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of experience in software development and testing
- Expertise in database testing and SQL
- Experience writing API test automation scripts from scratch using C#
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
