Job Description

As a Security Guard - Full Time - Mornings in Davenport IA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology media and telecommunications location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment through routine observations reporting and teamwork while reflecting Allied Universals agile reliable innovative caring and integrity-driven culture.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and delivery personnel at a technology media and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices common areas parking facilities loading zones and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures assisting with access control and maintaining accurate records as required.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when directed by established procedures.
• Prepare clear accurate reports of incidents patrol observations and security-related activities while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
