Mechanical Assembler

We have an outstanding Contract position for aMechanical Assembler to join a leading Company located in the Baldwin Park, CA surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $20 – 23

Job Responsibilities:  

• Assembles raw material torelatively small or light subassemblies and complete units. Tests, calibrates, and fits parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
• Works from product specifications and instructions to properly assemble product.
• Uses hand tools and small power tools properly
• Uses equipment, machinery andmaterials properly.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, Parts Manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
