Server

The Service Team or Front of House has the primary responsibility to administer the 7 steps of Service to every single guest within their assigned job while maintaining guest sensitivity, cleanliness, restocking, sanitation, uniform, safety, security, and company policy requirements. Service team is accountable for leading and delivering Steak N Shake standards in the eyes of the guests. The position has the role but not limited to cashier, serving, drive thru operations and hostess. The Service Team must obtain excellent interpersonal skills, able to retain menu item information. Service Team Member - Front of House Responsibilities Part time and/or Full Time Position Reports to Operational Supervisor/ and or Service Trainer Retain menu item information and changes Responsible for excellent guest experience Maintains policies and procedures Passionate about guest service Maintains optimal restaurant cleanliness Ability to learn and be proficient in all positions of the front house Meets basic math and reading requirements Ability to lift 20-30 Ibs occasionally Effectively interact with guests and associates Uphold professional relationships with associates and guests while under stress Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness Job Summary Daily work assignments assigned but not limited to cashier, drive thru service, serving, hostess Actively ensure service, hospitality, accuracy, and speed Demonstrate effective decision making and problem solving Possess communication skills Effectively follow all tasks always assigned by Supervisor to best of ability When working as a server at any location that offers full-service dining, service rate plus tips will apply. Requirements Must be 16yrs of age or older Able to work assigned schedule tags.
