Obstetrician/Gynecologist Generalist
We are excited to announce an immediate opening within the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at our organization, located at Valleywise Health Medical Center (previously known as Maricopa Medical Center). This facility is launching a new 240-bed teaching hospital in partnership with Creighton University School of Medicine, which will serve as a cutting-edge Level 1 Trauma and Regional Burn Center.
Our organization co-sponsors nine residency programs in collaboration with the Creighton Arizona Health Education Alliance and Phoenix Children's Hospital, all situated in the heart of Phoenix. The selected candidate will be employed through our multi-specialty group, which consists of over 400 professionals dedicated to patient care and education. This role will play a vital part in supporting the educational goals of the OB/GYN department's teaching initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a flexible mix of inpatient and outpatient duties.
- Responsibilities encompass labor and delivery, staffing for outpatient clinics, as well as gynecological consultations and surgical procedures.
- Maintain a regular schedule that includes weekend and night shifts.
Applicants must possess an MD or DO degree, hold a valid medical license in Arizona, and be ACOG Board-certified or Board-eligible.
