Medical Assistant

A medical practice in Michigan is seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Assistant/Office Coordinator. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and able to communicate effectively in Arabic. We are looking for someone interested in a stable, long-term position who can multitask and assist with both clinical and administrative responsibilities. Responsibilities Assist with patient care, rooming patients, vital signs, and medication review Submit and follow up on prior authorizations Schedule new patients, follow-up visits, imaging, and procedures Verify insurance eligibility and benefits before appointments Answer phone calls and communicate clearly with patients Obtain medical records, imaging reports, and referral information Coordinate with insurance companies, pharmacies, and surgical facilities. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record Support the front desk and clinical team as needed Qualifications Fluency in English and the ability to communicate in Arabic Medical assistant or medical office experience preferred Prior-authorization and insurance-verification experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills Dependable, professional, and comfortable working with patients Able to work independently and as part of a team Interested in growing with the practice long-term Compensation Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
