Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36-hour work commitment schedule | Every other weekend required | No on-call requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float to other units as required based on census and staffing needs
• Actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside the provision of clinical care
• Complete required orientation modules, including online computer-based learning (CBL) sessions conducted on Sundays
• Maintain compliance with facility and clinical standards throughout the duration of the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in-hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry experience required
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Must be available to complete drug testing within 12–14 calendar days prior to start date with no prior engagements during that window

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Experience with clinical education or nursing student preceptorship is a plus
