WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an Associate Preschool Teacher, you will help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where young children can learn, grow, and thrive. You will: Assist in planning, implementing, and facilitating a developmentally appropriate, full-inclusion program for young children. Support children's individual learning and developmental needs. Apply your knowledge of child development theory and developmentally appropriate practices. Work with children of all abilities, including children with disabilities and/or special needs. Collaborate with teachers and staff to provide a positive early learning experience

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We'd love to meet you if you have: 12 units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development At least 1 year of experience working with young children in a childcare setting Knowledge of child development theory and developmentally appropriate practices Experience working with children with disabilities and/or special needs A current Associate Teacher Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Before classroom assignment, candidates must have/complete: Fingerprint clearance/Department of Justice ID# Current health report, including a negative TB test Proof of required immunizations: Tdap, MMR, and Flu Vaccine Must reside at least 50 miles from the preschool facility in West Hollywood Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer
