Job Description Supervised by a Registered Nurse or Physician, the LPN guides our patients through a seamless process to ensure that their care is of the highest quality and delivered in the most efficient manner. The LPN directs patients through the appointment and provisions of nursing services during care, and performs phone triage. They collaborate in care‑planning discussions with RNs, MDs, and other providers to determine the urgency of care needs, triage emergent situations to the appropriate provider, and schedule acute care appointments to maximize patient opportunities and unit efficiency. The LPN maintains the flow of the provider schedule during patient sessions, minimizing patient wait time whenever possible. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
