An Occupational Therapist opportunity is available at a 558-bed acute care hospital in Atlantis, FL — a Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center, certified Ventricular Assist Device program, American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center, and American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Program, with services spanning emergency care, cardiovascular care, neurosciences, robotic surgery, orthopedics, spine care, bariatrics, behavioral health, and obstetrics.

The role. The Occupational Therapist manages the complete process of occupational therapeutic care for an assigned patient caseload, working in close coordination with physicians and the broader care team across the continuum of care. Core clinical responsibilities include completing patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and delivering purposeful, skilled therapeutic interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional ethics to produce meaningful changes in patient condition and function. The OT observes and reports patient reactions to treatment and changes in condition, and communicates pertinent payor needs and requirements to the physician, treatment team, patient, and family in a timely manner. The role also carries operational responsibility for prioritizing caseload, determining daily staffing needs, and coordinating assignments and handoffs.

• Bachelor's Degree
• Registered Occupational Therapist (ROT)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Schedule. Full-time, day shift with rotating weekends.

Compensation. $32.62 - $46.50/hr plus Sign-on bonus available
