We're hiring a Perinatal Nurse Manager to oversee the daily clinical operations of Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Care in a progressive hospital setting. This full-time leadership role offers the opportunity to influence maternal-child outcomes, mentor nursing teams, and collaborate across disciplines in a supportive healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities - Nurse Manager, Perinatal Services

• Manage clinical workflows and nursing operations across Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, and Nursery units
• Ensure high standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and staff performance
• Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and mentorship for nurses and unit staff
• Lead quality improvement initiatives aligned with maternal and newborn health outcomes
• Foster effective communication between providers, nursing teams, and support departments
• Support family-centered care with a focus on safety, compassion, and cultural sensitivity
• Promote professional growth and continuing education through competency evaluations and staff development programs
• Monitor and report on patient satisfaction, unit KPIs, and team engagement

Qualifications

Education:

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active RN license in New Mexico (or compact-eligible)
• BLS required
• National certification in OB, Inpatient Obstetrics, Maternal-Newborn, or Nurse Executive preferred

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in women's services, obstetric, or perinatal nursing
• At least 2 years in a nurse leadership or supervisory capacity

Skills:

• Expertise in obstetric clinical care, team management, and regulatory readiness
• Effective leadership, collaboration, and communication abilities
• Strong organizational and analytical thinking skills
• Proven ability to drive outcomes in quality, safety, and patient satisfaction
