Job Description As a Security Officer Access Management in Nicholasville, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and respond to security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying visitor, driver, contractor, and employee credentials in accordance with site procedures. Maintain accurate access logs, issue and collect visitor credentials as authorized, and report access discrepancies or unauthorized entry attempts. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
