Fully Remote Pharmacy TechnicianMUST have PTech license in the state you reside inMust be flexible to weekday and weekend shiftsThe Pharmacy Technician is responsible for evaluating prior authorization requests received via portal, fax and mail using client clinical criteria.Key responsibilities include reviewing medication requests, communicating coverage decisions, documenting outcomes, researching, and resolving inquiries, and escalating cases requiring extensive clinical review to a pharmacist.For technicians assigned to the fax queue, responsibilities also include reviewing coverage determinations, processing faxed requests within SLA requirements, monitoring multiple work queues, and adapting to changing business needs.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDActive Pharmacy Technician license/registration (CPT/ExCPT/LPT/PTCB/RPT)1-2 years of prior authorization experienceJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Sacramento, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
