CDL Driver Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and reliable CDL Driver to join our client's team. This role offers flexible scheduling, including weekend shifts, with the advantage of being home every night.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe operation of trucks and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections for mechanical and safety issues, performing preventative maintenance as required.
- Adhere to all truck driving regulations, including those pertaining to size, weight, and route designations, as well as company policies.
- Skillfully maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions.
- Accurately collect and verify delivery instructions.
- Promptly report any defects, accidents, or violations.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid Class A CDL license.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a truck driver.
- Experience with specialized trucks, such as Hydrovac or Dump Trucks, is advantageous.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all applicable truck driving laws and regulations.
- Clean driving record with no recent violations.
- Ability to adapt to and manage unexpected situations, such as traffic and adverse weather conditions.
- Experience in farming is considered a plus.
