Accounts Payable Clerk

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments in accordance with company policies. This position reports to the Accounts Payable Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, code, match, and enter vendor invoices into Microsoft Dynamics GP.
• Verify receipt of goods and services and ensure proper invoice approvals.
• Process and review employee expense reimbursements.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Maintain accurate Accounts Payable records and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Provide general support to the Accounting Department.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
