Our organization , a prominent academic medical institution committed to excellence in education, clinical practice, and research, is on the lookout for an Interventional Cardiologist who possesses a keen interest and expertise in complex high-risk indicated procedures (CHIP) and peripheral vascular interventions to enhance our expanding cardiovascular team.

The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive coronary interventional cardiology services, focusing on complex PCI and high-risk interventions, within a collaborative and high-volume academic setting. A background or strong enthusiasm for CHIP procedures, mechanical circulatory support, and peripheral arterial interventions is highly desirable.

Clinical duties will encompass both inpatient and outpatient care, active participation in multidisciplinary conferences, and shared on-call coverage for interventional cardiology. Call responsibilities will be equitably distributed among faculty members, primarily concentrating on coronary interventions and acute cardiovascular care.

This role includes clinical services at the main academic medical center, as well as involvement in satellite hospitals and outpatient clinics within our health system. These locations facilitate procedural growth, enhance patient access, and offer a diverse clinical experience while ensuring strong academic and operational alignment with the primary campus.

Additional duties involve teaching fellows, residents, and medical students, along with opportunities for clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and program development.

• MD or DO degree (or equivalent)
• Board certification/eligibility in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology
• Completion of a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology
• Expertise or a demonstrated interest in complex coronary interventions (CHIP)
• Preferred interest in peripheral vascular interventions
• A strong passion for academic medicine, teaching, and clinical excellence

Expected Total Annual Compensation: $550,000 - $695,000

The listed compensation range pertains to starting base pay and is adjusted based on years of experience and/or faculty rank, ranging from $466,000 to $571,000. This figure includes variable compensation and is subject to the department's compensation plans. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
