Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Oxus is an engineering, manufacturing, and service company specializing in medical devices and gas separation technology.We design and manufacture our products in Lake Orion, Michigan. We are currently seeking candidates for an Operations Supervisor position on our midnight shift. Essential Duties include: Identify and effectively communicate driving issues that impact production and/or quality. Maintain facility cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance. Confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments. Maintain an appropriate and effective labor-management relationship with subordinates. Has responsibility / accountability over the department for scheduling, planning, labor efficiencies, material, quality, and equipment for customer orders. Supports business schedules as appropriate, including overtime. Works closely with Manager/ Supervisor to finalize performance reviews for employees within the department. Supports and creates effective teams, units, and environments by setting a positive example for others to follow. Impacts and promotes organizational strategy and vision. Qualifications Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma and five years supervisory experience , preferably in a manufacturing environment. Candidates will also be familiar with word processing, spreadsheets, E-mail, inventory, and manufacturing software. #J-18808-Ljbffr
