Instructional Assistant

L ocation: Early Learning and Family Center | Status: Non- Exempt , Part Time | Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30AM-11:30AM; Tuesday, Thursday 9:30AM-12:30PM


Position Summary: An Instructional Assistant assists teachers in conducting general classroom activities.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Two years of post secondary education with a minimum of 60 credits.
• Experience working with diverse student group.
• Strong communications skills.

Compensation and Benefits :

Salary Range: The wage for this position ranges from $21.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Most candidates will start at the entry-level rate of $21.00 per hour. However, candidates with prior work experience in a related field may be eligible for a starting rate of up to $21.70 per hour. For those with direct experience in this specific role, the starting rate may exceed $21.70 per hour, depending on their qualifications and experience. These decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis, in consideration of the individual's experience and the school district's budget.
