Starting Pay up to $16.00 - 25.00 Based on Experience

Avancer Homes LLC is currently looking for Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our team specifically at the Persimmon CILA home, located in Genoa, Illinois! This position is ideal for candidates who are looking to gain experience in a behavioral health field or for individuals with a passion for serving others. Direct Support Professional (DSP) Requirements 

·         DSP certified or the ability to become certified through our paid training

·        At least 18 years of age

·        Transportation to your shifts

·        Lift 50 lbs

·        Pass a criminal background check

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Duties

&hearts Assist individuals with personal care needs – all ADL’s 

&hearts Assisting with all household task, meal preparation cooking and cleaning; maintain a    safe and healthy home environment that encourage learning.

&hearts Monitor individuals and engage in redirection.

&hearts Document individual’s activities, concerns and progress notes as required.

&hearts Participate in and out-of-home activities which may include driving company vehicles.

&hearts Provide an Abuse and Neglect free environment at all times.
