• Assist skilled carpenters in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.

• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements.

• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.

• Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure quality workmanship.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.

• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance carpentry skills and knowledge.

• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.

  Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Strong interest in carpentry and construction trades.

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor.

• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced carpenters.

• Prior experience in carpentry or construction is a plus, but not required.
