Football Head Coach – West Lincoln Middle School Location: West Lincoln Middle, Lincolnton, North Carolina (School ID 372). Job Summary Position ID 372900, available immediately for the 2026-2027 Fall Football Season, reporting to the Principal and Athletic Director. Part‑time coaching stipend based on coaching experience with NCHSAA. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum age 21. High School Diploma or GED. Coaching experience preferred. Must complete required NFHS courses (Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussion Training, CPR Certificate). CPR certification required for paid coaches. Must complete HR onboarding, drug test, background check, health physical, and TB test before approval. Eligible and willing to obtain a CDL bus driver’s license for the activity bus. Citizenship, residency, or work visa required. Duties and Responsibilities Provide leadership and support in planning, developing, and implementing the football program. Administer the sport program and foster a conducive learning climate. Implement improvement processes and maintain positive public and employee relations. Maintain professional habits and upgrade skills to improve student instruction. Communicate effectively with parents, faculty, players, and community. Cooperate with school leadership and coaching staff to develop rapport. Ensure appropriate conduct during games and practices and participate in professional growth activities. Perform other duties as assigned. Coaching Courses Required Fundamentals of Coaching (approx. 8 hours) – High School Coaches. Concussion Training (45 minutes) – All Coaches. CPR Certificate – mandatory.
