An exciting permanent Emergency Medicine physician opportunity is available in Key West, Florida. This role offers a unique chance to work night shifts in a vibrant island community. The position is a 1099 contract directly with the client, providing a tiered compensation model and housing support.
Practice Info
- Annual volume: ~23,000 visits
- EMR: MedHost EDIS
- Fast Track staffed by NP/PA from 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Compensation
- 1099 position – contracted directly with the client (not locums)
- Tiered compensation model:
- $250/hour for first 6 shifts
- $280/hour for shifts 7+
- Malpractice insurance provided
- Temporary housing available (group-owned condo)
- Additional options:
- $2,500/month housing stipend for first year or Relocation assistance
Shift & Schedule
- Looking for providers who can work 10–12 shifts per month
- Night shifts only: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Requirements
- Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine physician
- For FM-trained candidates, 5+ years of ER experience required
