FTR Strategist

We’re looking for a Senior FTR Modeling Analyst to join our team and help drive congestion analysis, market data sourcing, and FTR valuation. This role is a great fit for someone who has real hands-on experience in power market modeling, understands what ISO/RTO data is available and how to use it effectively, and can turn that work into practical trading insight.

What You’ll Do

• Build congestion models to anticipate bottlenecks and understand their impact on FTR value.
• Improve trade selection by identifying FTR paths with stronger historical or expected performance.
• Develop scenario analysis around generation changes, load growth, transmission upgrades, and regulatory developments.
• Understand how auction mechanics, settlement logic, and congestion drivers work together in live markets.
• Help separate what the market data shows from what is actually useful for modeling and decision-making.
