Travel Medical/Surgical RN - $2,074 per week

Overview Role: RN, Specialty: Medical/Surgical at Acute Medical/Surgical Department. The unit offers comprehensive services across Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, Rehab, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine & Weight Management, Women's Health, Pediatrics. Schedule Shift: 7pm – 7am. Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 with rotating weekend hours. Orientation is bi‑weekly. Float to similar units occasionally. Responsibilities & Patient Population Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, ages 18‑125. Manage patient ratios of 5:1 to 6:1. Utilize telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pump, bladder scanner, and dynamaps in patient care. Document in Cerner electronic health record system. Qualifications Minimum 2+ years experience in medical/surgical nursing. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Strong critical‑thinking skills, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, and thrive in stressful environments. Certifications & Licenses ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support). LP – BLS (Basic Life Support). LP – Registered Nurse License. Compensation & Additional Requirements Local Rate: $48 per hour. Candidates within 60 miles are considered local; those further must be classified as travel nurses.
