Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

The Emergency Department is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. The role involves providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, managing emergency situations with professionalism and confidence.

Position Overview

• Department: Emergency Room
• Shift: Night shift (7 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend/as needed
• Call Requirements: As needed

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 7 beds, 2 psych rooms, and 2 hall beds
• Patient Ratios: 5:1
• EHR: EDIS
• Patient Population: All age groups

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Providing comprehensive care to patients in the emergency setting.
• Assessing and prioritizing patient needs in critical situations.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with all protocols and standards of care.

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, HWC, PALS, TNCC
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience in an emergency setting
• Education: Current RN licensure in Tennessee or eligibility to obtain licensure
