Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality patient care in a Medical Surgical setting on a 13-week travel assignment. Ensure patient safety and deliver comprehensive nursing services across a Med Surg and Orthopedic unit.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to clinical changes promptly.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge instructions.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med Surg or Orthopedic nursing experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a flexible schedule.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications preferred.
