Contract Recruiter

Our client is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to support high-volume recruiting efforts for manufacturing and production operations. This individual will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of manufacturing positions, partnering closely with hiring managers to attract, assess, and hire top talent in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a strong background recruiting for manufacturing or industrial organizations and is comfortable managing multiple requisitions while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. Key Responsibilities Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for manufacturing, production, warehouse, maintenance, and skilled trades positions. Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop recruiting strategies, and provide market insights. Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates through various recruiting channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, referrals, and other sourcing platforms. Coordinate and facilitate interviews, offer negotiations, and onboarding activities. Maintain a high volume of open requisitions while ensuring timely communication with candidates and hiring teams. Build and maintain talent pipelines for hard-to-fill manufacturing positions. Track recruiting metrics, provide status updates, and ensure accurate documentation within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable employment laws throughout the hiring process. Participate in recruiting events, job fairs, and community outreach efforts as needed. Partner with HR and operations leaders to support workforce planning and hiring initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience , with significant experience recruiting for manufacturing, industrial, production, or skilled trades positions. Experience supporting high-volume hiring environments. Experience partnering directly with plant leadership and hiring managers. Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday, iCIMS, Taleo, Greenhouse, or similar). Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other recruiting platforms. Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet hiring deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience recruiting for multi-site manufacturing operations. Knowledge of manufacturing workforce trends and labor market conditions.
