Surgical Technician | St. Helena, CA

13-Week Assignment | OR/Surgical Services | Variable Shift

Take your next Surgical Tech assignment to St. Helena, California , located in the heart of Napa Valley. This is a great opportunity for an experienced OR professional to join a hospital surgical team and support a variety of operative procedures.

Position Details

• Location: St. Helena, CA

• Assignment: 13 weeks

• Start Date: August 31, 2026

• End Date: November 29, 2026

• Shift: Variable / 8-hour shift

• Department: Operating Room / Surgical Services

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required

• Previous Scrub Tech experience preferred

• Operating Room experience or surgical training preferred

• BLS/CPR certification required

• Surgical Technician certification preferred

• CNA certification preferred

• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and OR procedures

What You'll Do

• Prepare ORs and surgical cases

• Set up instruments, equipment, and sterile fields

• Pass instruments, supplies, and medications during procedures

• Maintain aseptic technique throughout cases

• Perform accurate instrument, sponge, needle, and blade counts

• Check and organize surgical supplies and equipment

• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas

• Assist with patient transportation and other OR support duties
