Join Our Dynamic Team as a Night Shift RN!

Job Description:

- Shift: 19:00 - 07:00
- Location: Mission FSED
- Address: 102 W Griffin Parkway, Mission, TX, 78572
- Number of Beds: 11
- Number of Staff: 3
- *Day Shift:* 3 RNs
- *Night Shift:* 3 RNs
- Patient Ratios: 1:4
- Type of Equipment: Trauma, POC lab, precipitous delivery
- EMR: Meditech

Typical Responsibilities:

- Engage in vital data collection and management.
- Perform emergency response procedures efficiently.
- Utilize POC lab for rapid results.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Must Have:
- 2 years of FSED/ED experience
- Proficiency in tough sticks, large bore IVs, blood cultures, triage, and monitoring

- Preferred Skills:
- Additional 2 years of ED/FSED experience
- Ability to operate with minimal oversight

Personality Traits:

- Flexible and adaptable
- Strong teamwork skills

Required Certifications:

- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- ENPC
- NIHSS
- CPI

Floating Area(s): FSED and ED
Dress Code: Scrub Color - Royal Blue

Unit Guidelines/Policies:

- Familiarity with emergency protocols (code blue, stroke, STEMI, sepsis) is expected.
- Work every other weekend.
