Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care in our Emergency Department at Research Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in the region. Responsibilities Coordinate and deliver clinically appropriate care in collaboration with medical providers and the interdisciplinary care team, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management, including reassessments after interventions. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers. Document the administration of care in the patient medical record accurately and promptly. Respond quickly to patient requests and anticipate patient needs to provide proactive care. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow‑up measures, translating complex terminology into understandable language. Teach non‑medicinal follow‑up measures, such as healthy diet, exercise, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes. Prepare patients and families for future self‑management and ongoing care coordination. Advocate for patients, families, and caregivers while modeling the organization’s vision, mission, and values. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license. RN diploma required. Advanced Trauma Care for Nurse, Trauma Nursing Core Course, or TNCC Instructor certification obtained within one year of employment start. Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or similar certification obtained within one year of employment start. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ACLS Instructor certification obtained within 30 days of employment start. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or BCLS Instructor certification obtained within 30 days of employment start.
