Litigation Associate

A respected Houston-based law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with 4-8 years of experience to join its growing litigation practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who enjoys handling sophisticated commercial disputes and wants meaningful responsibility in case development, motion practice, and courtroom advocacy. About the Role The firm is looking for an attorney to work alongside senior litigators on complex matters, serving in a key supporting role on active cases. Responsibilities Drafting and arguing motions Legal research and brief writing Assisting with case strategy and development Managing discovery and other litigation-related tasks Preparing cases for hearings, mediations, and trial This position offers flexibility for long-term career growth. Attorneys may evolve into a primary case-handling role over time or continue developing as a senior supporting litigator, depending on their interests and strengths. Practice Focus Commercial Litigation Title Insurance-Related Matters Note: This is not an insurance defense position. Candidates whose experience is primarily insurance defense litigation will not be a fit.
