Description

• Conduct assessments of patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and develop customized treatment plans.

• Educate patients and their families regarding therapy goals, discharge planning, and necessary home exercises.

• Take part in interdisciplinary meetings and care team discussions to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from a recognized program.

Certifications

• Required state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neuro, geriatrics) are viewed as advantageous but not essential.

• Prior experience is highly favored.
