Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching certifications and appropriate licenses for Special Education in Ohio
• Experience with MD classrooms supporting students with Autism, physical impairments, or non-verbal needs
• Familiarity and experience working with students with Emotional Disabilities, BIPs, and social-emotional instruction
• Proficiency in crisis intervention and classroom management
• Passion for diversity, inclusion, and equitable learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction and adapt curriculum for 9-12 students in an MD classroom and 10-15 students in an ED classroom within a single building
• Collaborate with support professionals and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide proactive behavioral and emotional support, including crisis intervention as needed
• Foster a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment for all types of learners
