Position Breast Imaging Radiologist Location Worcester, Massachusetts, United States (on-site) Salary $450,000 - $550,000 per year Description UMass Memorial Medical Group is seeking to hire a Breast Imaging Radiologist interested in joining a thriving, flexible and supportive department. About Our Department ~100 Radiologists, 28 residents, 10 fellows, ~25 research faculty and 5 full‑time educators, providing comprehensive imaging services through a fully integrated health care system. Primary academic medical center for UMass Chan Medical School. State‑of‑the‑art imaging equipment and a fully integrated IT infrastructure (EPIC, PACS, PS‑1) with extensive AI implementation. Opportunities for medical student education, health services or basic science research and AI. Breast Imaging Division 11 Breast Imagers and 1 Breast Imaging Fellow coordinate clinical care in UMass Memorial’s NAPBC approved Comprehensive Breast Center and multiple ACR designated centers of excellence within a 15–30‑mile radius. Annually: ~60,000 screening mammograms, 15,000 diagnostic mammograms, 12,000 dedicated breast ultrasounds, 2,250 breast MRIs and 4,250 interventional procedures. Digital environment across all UMass Health sites with six 1.5T and two 3T breast MRI systems, 20 tomosynthesis units, one 2D mammography unit, 12 ultrasound suites and 2 ABUS suites. All Breast Imaging Radiologists should be able to perform a full range of breast imaging and interventions. Starting spring 2026, faculty may read from home an average of one day per week.
