Accounting Associate

Accounting Associate Location: Long Prairie, MN Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM We seek dependable team members to support day‑to‑day accounting operations. Responsibilities Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred) At least 2 years of accounting experience; manufacturing experience a plus Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and general accounting functions Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or another ERP system (preferred) Excellent organizational, communication, problem‑solving skills Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Analyze manufacturing, labor, and overhead costs and identify variances Assist with month‑end close, journal entries, reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting Support accounts receivable and accounts payable processes; follow up past‑due invoices, dispute claims, perform credit checks Maintain accurate customer and vendor records Assist with financial reporting and related projects Benefits Weekly direct deposit or payment card Medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and family Optional 401(k) retirement plan Paid holidays, time off, and other wellness incentives (as detailed in the full offer) Company Staffmark (an RGF Staffing and Recruit Group) partners with leading employers such as Indeed and Glassdoor, providing career opportunities.
