Audit Manager

Responsibilities Direct audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning through issuance Lead and mentor audit seniors and staff through training, delegation, and performance feedback Evaluate financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with GAAP and applicable reporting frameworks Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and responsiveness Coordinate engagement timelines, budgets, staffing, and deliverables Identify accounting, internal control, and operational issues for clients and partners Conduct risk assessments and design audit procedures tailored to client operations Serve commercial and real estate clients, including developers, property managers, investment entities, and construction businesses Support clients with technical accounting matters and the implementation of new accounting standards Collaborate with tax and advisory teams on client service, practice development, recruiting, and process improvement initiatives Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting 5+ years of recent public accounting experience Prior experience managing audit engagements in a CPA firm environment Experience with commercial and/or real estate clients is strongly preferred Strong knowledge of U.S GAAP and auditing standards Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Abacus Group, LLC
