RN School Based - IMMEDIATE NEED!-Edison, New Jersey

RN School‑Based (Permanent Substitute Float) Remainder of this school year with opportunity for next year. Location Edison Township Local Schools Schedule Monday through Friday during school hours (35 hours a week). No nights, weekends, holidays, or summers. Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care and support to students in various school settings. Assess student health needs and implement appropriate nursing interventions. Collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students. Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications Current RN license from the New Jersey Board of Nursing (required). Knowledge of communicable disease prevention and medication protocols. Collaborative, team‑oriented approach – must work effectively with staff, parents, and students. Excellent organizational skills and time‑management abilities. Current CPR certification and ability to pass a comprehensive background check. Strong interpersonal skills – ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
