Field Service Technician - Stevens Point, WI

Field engineers or service technicians who are tech‑savvy, have mechanical aptitude, and can provide best‑in‑class service to large retail customers. Key Responsibilities Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively. Service electromechanical equipment, including self‑checkout systems, within an assigned territory. Conduct maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls. Communicate openly and effectively to identify and resolve issues before they arise. Basic Qualifications Local candidate to the geographic area. Authorized to work in the U.S. Minimum 18 years of age. Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting NCR fleet requirements. PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with specific hardware and operating system. Ability to perform essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation. Prolonged travel, driving several hours per day. Rotating and weekend shifts, flexible shift work within set teams. Capacity to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment up to 75 lbs. without assistance, and up to 150 lbs. with assistance. Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, and manipulate objects of varying size. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software. A+ Certification, CompTIA, N+ Certification. One or more years of related experience. Benefits & Compensation Hourly Pay Range: $18 to $20, depending on location and experience levels. Overtime available at time and a half. 7 paid holidays and 6 paid floating holidays. Paid vacation – up to 80 hours in your first year. 401(k) savings and retirement plan.
