Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg, in an inpatient acute neuro unit serving adults in the Cumming, GA area. Start date: 10/05/2026. Assignment duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,528–$1,568 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 12-hour nights on a 12x3 schedule. This travel temporary assignment emphasizes neuro-focused med/surg care in a high-acuity inpatient setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults on a neuro-focused med/surg unit, including routine neuro assessments and monitoring.
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and document care in the electronic health record with accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and escalate concerns to the care team; participate in daily rounds and care planning.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social work, and case management to support safe discharge planning and care transitions.
- Maintain safety, infection control, and comfort measures; educate patients and families on procedures, medications, and post-discharge care.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in a neuro-focused or inpatient med/surg setting
- Required: AHA BLS and NIH Certification; ACLS preferred
- Ability to work the specified shift (12-hour nights) in a high-demand inpatient unit
- No local candidates within 50 miles
- Eligibility to work in the United States; ability to travel for a 13-week assignment
