Contract Details:

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $75.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours between 6:00 AM 5:00 PM; Weekend coverage: Occasional

Job Summary:

This is a Travel/Contract Operating Room Registered Nurse position at a surgery center in Calabasas, CA. The role is within the Nursing profession with a specialty in Operating Room. First-time travelers are accepted. The facility prefers candidates who are interested in converting to a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care with a focus on Total Joint surgical procedures
• Perform ambulatory and OR nursing duties within an 8-hour day shift schedule
• Adhere to all facility policies; no scheduling requests can be accommodated

Required Skills:

• Total Joint experience (HARD STOP required at time of submission)
• Ambulatory and OR nursing experience
• Active RN license required at time of submission (pending license not accepted)

Preferred Skills:

• Interest in converting to a permanent position

Education Requirements:

• Active RN License required (must be active at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted)
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)

Required Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of Ambulatory and OR experience

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

• On-site position at a surgery center
• Occasional weekend coverage required
• Floating: Not required
• On-call: Not required
• No scheduling requests can be accommodated
