Phlebotomist Float

Labcorp seeks a Float Phlebotomist for its Wabash, Indiana location to perform blood collections and specimen processing across multiple clinic sites. The role involves rotating schedules with travel between locations and opportunities for skill development across diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
• Perform accurate and timely patient data entry and billing processing
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and maintain specimen logs
• Travel to additional clinical sites as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One or more years of phlebotomy experience
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• At least 21 years old
• Phlebotomy certification from accredited agency or completed training program
• Pass standardized color blindness test
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
