Work Environment\nIn this remote work setting, you will operate primarily from your home office but may also engage with clients via virtual platforms. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough client assessments to establish comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual, couple, or family needs. \n
- Facilitate engaging therapy sessions utilizing a variety of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). \n
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies. \n
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to promote integrated care and support holistic treatment paths. \n
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions, to continuously enhance therapeutic skills and techniques. \n
Your work will primarily focus on diverse individuals, couples, and families, addressing various mental health challenges, relationship issues, and life transitions. You will have the opportunity to work with clients from different backgrounds, enriching your clinical experience and enhancing cultural competency in therapy. The aim is always to facilitate healing, communication, and lasting change within family systems.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. \n
- An active LMFT license in the state of Maryland, demonstrating compliance with legal and professional standards. \n
- Demonstrated experience in applying evidence-based therapeutic methods in clinical settings, with a strong focus on client outcomes. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and clinical communication skills, allowing for effective rapport-building with clients and collaboration with colleagues. \n

- A minimum of two years of experience in therapy, preferably within an outpatient or similar setting. \n
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and techniques, enhancing the ability to provide remote services effectively. \n
- Experience working with various clinical populations, including but not limited to, families in crisis, couples therapy, and individual therapy for anxiety, depression, and trauma. \n
