About the Position

Job Title: Level 1 RN Outpatient Cardiology & Interventional Radiology Profession: RN Specialty: Acute: Outpatient Duration: Full Time Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years patient care experience with recent experience in arrhythmia recognition and cardiology. License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience with moderate sedation, treadmill, and nuclear stress testing. Description: Full Time Outpatient role with a schedule of Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. No nights, weekends, or on-call duty are required. Education required is RN graduate, with a preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The position requires 2 years of RN experience, specifically with recent arrhythmia recognition and cardiology expertise. Moderate sedation is a significant component of this role, and previous experience is essential. The RN will perform Treadmill, ETTs, and Nuclear Stress Testing. Conduct initial patient interviews and make preliminary assessments of test data. Prepare studies for physician interpretation. Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing supervisors to ensure accurate and timely results. Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures while providing education to patients and families. Assist with monitoring special procedures such as stress-echo studies and tilt table studies. Recognize emergency situations and respond according to established protocols. Identify and interpret arrhythmias. Perform conscious sedation as needed.
