Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 Year of Experience License: Valid State License (Pending License Accepted) Certifications: CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA, NBSTSA, CSPDT Must-Have: - Skills in Orthopedics, Client, and Robotics - Knowledge of High-Level Disinfection, Sterilization Procedures, and Equipment Documentation - Experience with Case Cart, Sets/Trays Assembly, and Endoscope Reprocessing Description: Sterile Processing Technician role available for a 13-week assignment. Candidates must be available for 5x8 night shifts. Previous experience in a sterile processing environment is required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. The role involves the cleaning, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment. Candidates should possess and maintain relevant certifications. Weekend rotation is required for coverage. Travelers may be called off for one shift per two weeks. Additional certifications preferred in related fields. Applicants must complete all required orientations and modules before starting the assignment. Housing arrangements must be looked into prior to assignment, as options may be limited.
